Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there!

I know this isn’t technically a Father’s Day cartoon but, fathers play golf, right? So, it’s close enough.

For my family, golf is the Father’s Day tradition. I and my two younger brothers take my father out for a day of golf and dinner afterward. It sure helps with trying to figure out what to get my dad for Father’s Day. He is a hard guy to shop for and pretty much has everything he needs anyways. So instead of buying him something - it’s the annual Father’s Day match!

Generally, it’s me and my middle brother that takes on my father and youngest brother.

Since this is my website, I could certainly lie about how often my team comes out on top. It’s not like they have any way of rebuttal - other than the comments section I suppose? But I can erase the comments if they try. Ha!

Truth be told, my father and youngest brother win practically every year. But this year, I’m feeling lucky! I haven’t golfed since last year - so I haven’t had a chance to develop any bad habits yet. At least that is what I am telling myself. And if that doesn’t work out for me, I’ll just keep bringing my dad a sandwich whenever he needs a club and get him frustrated. Maybe that will work?

Wish me luck!

That’s today’s cartoon folks. I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day with your kids or father or whatnot. Time with family is always well spent. I’ll be back Wednesday with the next cartoon. See you then!

Cheers
