I’m not a religious person per se, but I did grow up going to catechism twice a week for years as a child. I was raised catholic - so it’s safe to say that this stuff was ingrained deeply into my brain from a very young age. Unwillingly, might I add. That was eons ago, but every once in a while it creeps back into my conscious.

John 8:-1-11 - “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” - Jesus

I heard someone murmur that famous quote the other day and for some reason, my mind went straight to fishing. I don’t even fish! Also, It’s winter here in Vermont. Heck, they weren’t even talking about adultery when they recited it! I overheard it at a gas station while waiting in line to buy a coffee. It’s amazing what you overhear in public places.

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know much about fishing, but I do not suggest that you use rocks for bait. It probably makes the fish taste awful….

That’s today’s cartoon folks! I’ll be back Wednesday with more absurdities.

Cheers,
