Who knows…this joke may have been done before?

It seems like something that Gary Larson would have done for The Far Side comics back in the day. If it has been done by Gary or any other cartoonist, I apologize. I certainly don’t mean to plagiarize. At the same time, I don’t have room in my schedule to scour the internet to ensure it hasn’t been done before.

And maybe it hasn’t?

It is one of those jokes that seems so clever that you swear someone must have done it before. After all, there are only so many ideas…

One thing is for certain though. Someone may have done the joke before (or not) but no one has drawn it exactly like me. Maybe similar but not exact.

I am an original and I don’t care who knows it! How is that for inspirational! I think I just may deliver a keynote address on this topic at the next meeting of cartoonists I attend.

I have never attended one…but if I did…well then, I would.

As I said! Inspirational!!!

(Oh! And if I was the first cartoonist to think of this idea then shame on all the other cartoonists in the world for not thinking of it first.)
