I don’t know what the birds are like where you live, but here in Vermont, they are crazy!

It’s like they don’t even know they have wings! Seriously, it’s like having a superpower, why would you not take advantage of it! If I had wings you could bet I would fly everywhere. Need milk at the store? Fly! Stuck in traffic? Fly! Someone is in the downstairs bathroom and need to use the upstairs one? FLY!!!

I mean really! It seems like every day as I make my way down the highway there are a couple of birds having diner on the highway - precisely in my lane. I beep the horn to warn them I am coming and they just casually hop to the side of the road about 2 seconds before I would unwillingly make them diner for another animal. I mean, I’m driving at least 65 MPH straight at you, (most likely faster even) why wouldn’t you fly your ass out of the road? But I digress…I haven’t hit one yet - so must be they know what they are doing?
